ABSTRACT
The results of Class A and B fire tests using an experimental powder based on mono-ammonium phosphate of tailored particle size distribution are described. The experimental powder was found to be comparable with commercially available general purpose powders on Class A fires and more effective than sodium bicarbonate powders on Class B fires.
