JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a qualified and motivated postdoctoral fellow to conduct research in the area of fire modeling (numerical). The primary responsibility will be to support and an ongoing research project offered by the private company and expand the fundamental outcome to predict the realistic fire scenario. Experiences in fire science and fire dynamics is helpful and capability on FDS (+ Fluent) is well-required.

OTHER CONDITIONS:

Although no specific additional requirements are needed, the postdoctoral fellow will be encouraged to publish scholarly papers and write the grant proposal(s). The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in Mechanical/Fire Protection Engineering or any related field. Having excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong written and verbal communication skills are highly welcome. A one-year appointment is anticipated with a possible extension to an additional year(s) based on the performance.
