Affiliated Fields  Energy Conversion Engineering Laboratory, Environment and Energy Course

Fields of Specialty Combustion engineering, especially in the research area on utilizing/safety of liquid/solid combustibles

Responsible Subjects  Subjects concerning Mechanical Engineering, such as Creative Experiment for Mechanical Engineering, Experimental Practice for Mechanical Engineering etc.

Qualifications

Persons, who meet all of the following requirements,

  • must have a doctorate or Ph.D. or be expecting to obtaining one by time of hiring and must have research experience in his/her field.*
  • must be able to be responsible for curriculum for laboratory work for students and must have strong enthusiasm and creativity for assisting and guiding the educational research of students.
  • if not a native speaker of Japanese, must have Japanese language ability to be engaged in office work.

*Based on the mission of our university, we expect the candidate having sufficient level of understandings on education in technical collage (Kosen).

Planned Hiring Date August 1, 2024 or possible later day Compensation

  • Salary: Based on the Pay Regulations for University Faculty of the Toyohashi University of Technology
  • Other benefits: Dependency allowance, housing allowance, commutation allowance, transfer allowance, etc. (Provided upon confirming requirements)
  • Work hours: Flexible time system based around the hours of 8:30 to 17:15
  • Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, New Year’s holidays, and designated summer holidays
  • Insurance: The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Mutual Aid Association Insurance (short-term), and the Employees’ Pension Insurance (long-term)
